Introduction · The core idea
Movement is a stimulus, not a punishment
Intense exercise isn't automatically bad for your hormones or 'inflammatory.' Acute training stress is how you adapt — the problem is chronic overload, poor recovery and under-fuelling.
Acute stress you recover from builds you; chronic stress you never escape breaks you. Same signal, opposite outcome — and the difference is recovery, not the exercise.
